Live Feed! Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos, 8/2/2017. What you see in the video below is the economy of the Turks and Caicos, mostly tourism and recreation. The Turks and Caicos are a part of the British empire located southeast of the Bahamas and in the Atlantic Ocean. They are run on the parliamentary systems and the islands are overseen by a British governor.
Conch farming is a big part of their economy and conch is a delicacy of the island as they are farmed from the crystal blue water. While this looks like paradise, crime is very high, the homicide rate is 10 deaths /100,000 people. Crimes against tourists persist as there have been a rash of shootings, two Americans in the recent two months. Despite that, the islands are a popular place to snorkel and scuba dive.

Disney's Contemporary Resort (Walk-Thru Monorail and All!!!) at Disney World, Lake Buena Vista, FL, 7/11/2017 (Part 3)
I had the privilege of visiting Disney's Contemporary Resort at Disney World, Lake Buena Vista, FL last week. The past couple of months I have been looking at Disney's stock (NYSE ticker: DIS), it pays over a two-dividend and earnings have been up three-fold the past ten years. Things are looking good at Disney, Disney amazingly holds eight out of nine top spots for theme park attendance world-wide!!!
This is the third part of several videos which is a complete walk-through of this extraordinary resort and hotel. The resort is decades old but so well kept that it looks almost brand new. Included, is a cameo appearance by the Monorail, the Grand Canyon atrium and, of course, the pool. The rooms are a bit pricey but I highly suggest visiting and booking a room as the resort is one stop away on the Monorail line from the Magic Kingdom and two stops away from Epcot Center

Midnight Oil Returns to Tour! "The Great Circle 2017 World Tour"
As mentioned before, the band Midnight Oil has been performing its "The Great Circle 2017 World Tour" the past four months. The North American tour was highly successful with most of the shows being sold out to high demand. I got to see them in Silver Spring and they were great. They were a little rusty as the band recently reformed after being disbanded since 2002. Midnight Oil is currently touring Europe, then Asia and New Zealand, and lastly Australia. Below is one of my favorite songs from 1985:

The Van Der Hagen Traditional Safety Razor (Part 3)
During the past several months, I have been using a double-edged (aka., safety razor) blade from Van Der Hagen to shave with. The Van Der Hagen Traditional Safety Razor blade is similar to what my grandfathers used for shaving their faces back in the day.
I feel that this shaving blade gives a closer shave and reduces razor burns, cuts, bleeding, bumps and infections. The unit price on the shaving blades are half the cost, or even more, than traditional cartridge blades.
The razor handle and blades take up less space than conventional cartridge razors. The only thing that you dispose of is the 1/2 square-inch blade.
Traditional cartridge blades normally have two, three or as many as five blades. Having 5 blades going across ones face at the same time can really irritate and damage the skin.

Back to Cutting Weight
I will be limiting myself to having between one and two full meals a day during the next month to shed some extra pounds. I have been eating poorly since I lost thirty pounds last summer and have gained half of my weight back. I have been eating too much junk food, white starches and sugar the past few months.
I will be focusing on eating real foods, fruits, vegetables, nuts and lean protein. Losing weight is a pain in the ass. I have been exercising moderately, nothing crazy just jogging and walking mostly, but I hope to get back into the gym routine soon.

Avoidance of White Starches and Sugars in Foods
My blood glucose levels have been elevated so my doctors recommended that I limit starches and sugars. As a result, I did lose quite a bit of weight following a limited white starch and limited sugar diet. White starches such as white bread, white potatoes and white rice are easily converted into sugars. Sugar, of course, is found in candy, sodas, sports drinks, ice cream and processed foods as filler. Too much white starches and sugars can lead to weight gain and more severe conditions such as diabetes.
I have been told to simply avoid white starchy foods as well as sugar. My doctor indicated no more than 10 grams of sugar per meal. I did lose quite a bit of weight listening to my doctor's advice and my blood glucose levels fell. Midnight Oil "Diesel and Dust" Album

Coach Corey Wayne "Understanding Relationships" (Part 2)
As I mentioned, Coach Corey Wayne has a great YouTube channel on dating and relationships. And I also mentioned that he has a really good book called "How To Be A 3% Man, Winning the Heart of the Woman of Your Dreams." The premise of the book is how to fix and maintain relationships. I have read the book a couple of times and was blown away by the content. I highly suggest getting the book if you are lacking in that department. Among some of the items and principles in the book are: the no-contact rule for break ups, what makes a masculine man. what women want in a man, basic communication protocol with women.
